Our team
Sylvie Hergault is a graduate of the University Rennes 2 in Upper Brittany, with twenty years of experience working for international software publishers (including Borland Software Corporation) and translation agencies.
She founded r’Go Translations to offer her English to French translating skills and technical and marketing expertise to her customers. She works with a network of freelance translators and professional proofreaders, who all adhere to the strictest standards of quality and reliability that have become the hallmarks of r’Go Translations.
r’Go Translations is a member of the SFT (Société Française des Traducteurs), the French national union representing professional translators.
In practical terms, how is a project organized ?
To begin with, we assess your particular needs. We review the original documents and draw up the project specifications providing tariff details per source word (depending on the document format and level of technical difficulty), a delivery deadline and a precise list of deliverables. As soon as you approve the specifications, we start the translation process.
If necessary, we work with in-house teams to decide together on the precise terminology or the exact message that you wish to convey. We work as a team, which means that our translations are systematically re-read and approved by another proofreader. Once we have delivered the translation, you inform us of any modifications that you would like us to apply. We also offer to help you with our Post Project Review (PPR) service.
